SWSbank and Regional Australia Bank are pleased to announce a shared intent to merge and have commenced a due diligence process to explore the feasibility and benefits of a merger.
A successful merger will unite two highly successful member-owned banks and enable the delivery of enhanced services, build stronger regional communities, and ensure members continue to have access to local and personalised banking.
What this means for you:
In combining two long-standing successful member-owned banking models, our members can expect:
More branches: All SWSbank branches will remain open with local staff. Further, our members will have access to a network of over 50 branches across regional and rural NSW as well as Bank@Post services.
More choices: a wider selection of products, including agricultural and commercial loans and accounts.
Regional focus: two strong entities with aligned values means a continued focus on banking for regional and rural Australians while continuing our support of the communities we serve.
More scope for innovation: A focus on innovation and digital convenience, providing improved services and access for members.
